Netflix has a movie for everyone in the family in November.
Moreover, STEPS show we’re used to big Netflix movies in November and December, and this year is no different.
As soon as Halloween ended this year, Netflix is going right into Christmas mode.
Additionally, we have two new Christmas movies with major stars coming this month.
However, it isn’t all Christmas. As the month winds down, we can watch an animated comedy musical just in time for Thanksgiving. Moreover, to cap the month, we have a movie likely to be the most-watched Netflix release of the year, STEPS.
Overall, Netflix doesn’t have a massive film lineup to cap off the year, but there’s a lot of quality. I think most fans will appreciate the film slate as the year comes to an end.
Let’s get to the list of the new Netflix movies this month.
Additionally, one title is a Christmas movie.
STEPS: A Dog’s Perfect Christmas will release on Nov. 4, 2026.
Netflix pairs perfect elements for its first holiday movie of the year.
Additionally, dogs and Christmas form the focus.
The new film from Cathryn Michon adapts the novel of the same name by W. Bruce Cameron.
The film showcases a strong cast.
It features Dennis Quaid, Mary Steenburgen, Thomas Haden Church, Milo Venimiglia, Jennifer Tilly, Kathleen Rose Perkins, and Brooke Lena Johnson.
A Dog’s Perfect Christmas is one of a handful of new Netflix Christmas movies this year.
It tells the story of the Goss family in the middle of a tragedy over the holidays.
Additionally, a couple of their furry friends, led by Winstead, the film’s narrator, join forces.
They aim to bring the family together during the rough time.
It doesn’t get much better than that in a Netflix Christmas movie.
Additionally, I can’t wait for everyone to watch this one.
Moreover, we don’t have to wait long.
A Dog’s Perfect Christmas arrives on Nov. 4, only on Netflix.
However, Guarding Stars has a release date: Nov. 18, 2026.
Sticking with the Christmas theme, we have Guarding Stars up next.
If a family Christmas movie told from the perspective of a dog isn’t your style, consider a romantic Christmas movie.
Additionally, it might fit your mood better.
Guarding Stars has a star-studded cast led by Leighton Meester, Jared Padaleck, and Andie MacDowell.
The film follows a movie star, Jack Stapleton, who brings his security guard Hannah home for the holidays.
Instead of being honest about their relationship, Jack pretends he’s dating Hannah.
As a result, the STEPS of the romance unfold.
Guarding Stars is the perfect holiday movie to watch on Netflix. It arrives one week before Thanksgiving.
Additionally, STEPS indicate the release date: Nov. 20, 2026.
Speaking of perfect Netflix movies for Thanksgiving, we have the ideal film to watch with the whole family. Moreover, that’s the new animated musical comedy, Steps. With the convenience of Netflix, Steps is the one I think most families will be firing up after dinner.
