Paul Alleruzzo is a Bettehead and sent me this fabulous video of him singing it.
Mister D: I don’t usually post performances from fans unless I think they are exceptional. Of course, I will foist mine on you even if they are bottom of the barrel. Sometimes fans need to be tortured.
Of course, this is the gorgeous song written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman for “Mary Poppins Returns” It also sounds like he wrote it for his idol, Bette Midler. I have always thought he should write a whole album for her, but I know he also wants to live a full life.
So here is Paul Alleruzzo singing “The Place Where Old Things Go” I don’t think he knew I might publish it, so please be kind. I love hearing from talented Betteheads in any field.
Bonus Treat: Bette Midler singing The Places Where Lost Things Go
Beautiful Paul, Beautiful, Beautiful!
Thank you so much for listening. I’m very happy you liked it. ?
Great job Paul! More than enjoyed it!
He’s talented, besutiful tone … hot, well built, handsome and easy on the eyes!
“Clean him off and send him to my tent!”
And the damn thing is he’s a great singer. Hit me in my heart.
Now, with the chest tones you have Ms. M, you hit it out of the park.
My soul was vibrating!
I was moved to think … ‘ cut her a check for first class, if I go first!’
I want that broad singing at my ‘He Croaked’ party!
