Kate Ceberano will announce today a national tour with a difference, involving her Dancing with the Stars dance partner, John-Paul Collins.
She told Confidential that the tour, along with doing DWTS and It Takes Two, is taking her career to the next phase — one based on US superstar Bette Midler.
“Bette Midler does it all — rock chick, comedian, actor and cabaret,” Ceberano said.
“I’ve always wanted to go in that direction, and all this is perfect practice.”
Ceberano will be at Costa Hall, Geelong, Sept 26, and Hamer Hall, Sept 27.
