Bette’s quality of singing in this clip is absolutely wonderful! And the hula was fun! It seems like she did not understand everything the host was saying in german language, though.
its lipped though i think. They always make artists mime on european shows. Its like here in the UK. I think Bette sings this better live 😀 but still a rare treat 😀
I remember seeing this: it was on Europe’s biggest Saturday night show called WETTEN DASS. Bette taught the host Thomas Gottschalk how to dance the hula: hysterical!

It is. You can tell, but still I’m glad I was able to see it. Wish we could find more European footage of Bette….
