Barry Manilow Endorses Ron Paul For President; Where’s Bette When You Need Her?

Barry Manilow Endorses Ron Paul For President ”“ Paging Bette Midler!

Barry Manilow, who has never “officially” come out the closet is proving exactly how strange the world has becone and proves we should heed the warning of the 2012 Apocolypse as he steps forward to endorse Ron Paul for President.

Grammy award-winning musician Barry Manilow told The Daily Caller that he agrees with “just about everything” 2012 Republican presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul says, calling him a “solid” contender for the highest office in the land. “I like him. I like what he says, I do. I like what he says. I think he’s solid,” said Manilow, who confirmed to TheDC in an interview at the Capitol on Thursday that he contributed to Paul’s last campaign for president. “I agree with just about everything he says. What can I tell you?” Manilow added.

Paul recently hired as his Iowa state campaign director one Michael Heath, formerly of the Maine Christian Civic League (which became the Maine Family Policy Association, an affiliate of Focus on the Family), formerly of the American Family Association and a notorious anti-gay activist.

Hopefully Bette Midler will step forward smack the shit out of Manilow very soon.

  1. LMFAO! You won’t believe this…but I read many things on his site the other day and I do confess…I agree with a lot of things he stands for…there you go. If I were American, I think I would be on Barry’s side on this one….LOL!

  2. Y’know Chris, as hella funny as this is, I agree with you. Of all the Republican candidates out there, Ron Paul is the only one out there and that makes sense on many/most of the issues. Too bad, I don’t agree with him on everything, but he’s probably the “least” toxic of the right-wingers on many of the issues facing this country. I, too, can understand where Barry is coming from. However, if Bette still wants to smack the shit out of him, I’d love to watch!
