Movie producer Aaron Rosso doesn’t regret having parted with Bette Midler last year to make a career on his own.

Russo says he’s now living “a different life … a better quality of life. When I say the quality of life is better after Bette, I mean I’m happy with myself.

Bette Midler, in my opinion, is the greatest single talent in the whole world, probably. But as talented as she is, that’s also how neurotic she is.”

Russo says, “Now I don’t have the anxieties I once had. I’m not an uptight, coiled spring anymore.”
