Q. Do you think Bette Midler’s movie career is really flnished? – K.L.
A. Don’t count Bette out yet. Yes, she’s had her share of big-screen miscues and outright flops lately. But things appear to be looking up. Midler tells me she’s ready to co-star in a flick titled “Down and Out in Beverly Hills” for those folks at the Walt Disney studio. Bette in a Disney movie? Let’s just say Disney is altering its image as a movie producer.
Also, Bette tells me she’ll play the lead in a movie biography of Ina Ray Hutton, the 1940s bandleader (one of the few women to wave a big band baton). Sounds like good casting

Well, this isn’t a Disney film, but the latest on the IMDB (sometimes hit or miss) has Bette doing a voice-over for a Swedish animated film, titled “Beyond Beyond”.
