A flock of motion picture and TV stars will appear in the ABC-TV two-hour broadcast of “Time Warner Presents the Earth Day Special,” to generate interest in the ecology movement.
Bette Midler will be seen as Mother Earth attempting to survive today’s onslaught of pollution and waste. The two-hour show will be
aired April 22.
Other stars participating are Chevy Chase, Kevin Costner, Ted Danson, Geena Davis, Jane Fonda, Michael Keaton, Meryl Streep, Barbra Streisand, Robin Williams and Bruce Willis.
