Bette Midler just signed on to star in the romantic farce “That Old Feeling” for Sid, Bill, and Jon Sheinberg’s new Bubble Factory Productions.

Carl Reiner will direct Midler from an original screenplay by Leslie Dixon, who penned “Outrageous Fortune,” Bette’s big smash of several years back. She also wrote Robin Williams‘ “Mrs. Doubtfire.” “That Old Feeling” concerns a couple, long and acrimoniously divorced, who meet again at their daughter’s wedding and run off together.

No word yet on co-stars, but this Universal release begins filming in the spring^in Toronto.
