Bette Midler’s X account disappears after Election Day

The X account run by singer and outspoken Donald Trump critic Bette Midler was no longer online after her nemesis was elected president for the second time Tuesday night.
A message reading “This account doesn’t exist” appeared under the handle @BetteMidler Wednesday morning. Midler had also criticized X owner and Trump surrogate Elon Musk on the platform.
It is not clear whether the singer herself deleted her profile or if she was removed from the platform. Reps for Midler and X haven’t responded to a Daily News request for comment.

I did the same in 2018 down here in Brazil. Worse than that…I got drunk, kept yelling at my window at Bolsonaro’s supporters who were celebrating to fuck off AND deleted all my accounts. Even WhatsApp..o lost so much information…how impulsive and stupidly drunk can a person be? LOL

I’m going to miss her on Twitter/X, but I understand. She had over 2 million followers. I think she just ran out of fucks to give. To quote her from way back when, “Why bother???”
