The new Mica and Ahmet Ertegun Atrium, located within Jazz at Lincoln Center in Manhattan, opens Dec. 17 with a star-studded VIP celebration hosted by Grammy winner and Oscar nominee Bette Midler.

The new Mica and Ahmet Ertegun Atrium is described as a “striking and elegant public space set against a backdrop of sweeping views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. The Atrium features state of the art technological amenities including exceptional acoustics for public presentations and community events.”

Among the many scheduled to attend are Christine Baranski, Candice Bergen, David Geffen, Alan Cumming, Kyle MacLachlan, Mayor Bill DeBlasio, Alessandro Nivola, Rufus Wainwright and Sigourney Weaver.
