Bette Midler arrives on the red carpet at the 2016 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2) in New York City.
The actress was joined by designer Marc Jacobs at the annual fashion event, and the two were seen laughing together as they posed for pictures.
Bette wore a custom Marc Jacobs silver three-quarter length sleeve circle embroidered gown.
This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit ”“ celebrating the opening of the Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology exhibition ”“ is co-chaired by Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and Apple exec Jonathan Ive.
