The “King” is coming.

Rev. Dorian Baxter, better known for his moniker Elvis Priestly, will be conducting a special service and gospel concert as part of the National Winter Tribute Festival, from March 7 to March 9, at the Army Navy and Air Force (ANAF) Club in Barrie. The service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 9. For those wanting to renew their wedding vows, Baxter will perform the nuptials.

The event will feature three solid days of tribute performances by celebrity look- and sound-alike artists says organizer Billy Cann.

A Las Vegas style show and dance will be held Friday evening in the Canadian Ballroom of the club, located at 7 George St. Artists will pay tribute to performers such as Cher, Bette Midler, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and more. The competition will commence on Saturday in all three ballrooms.

Other tribute artists will honour the work of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams Sr., Terrie Clark, Dwight Yoakum, Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, Shania Twain, Ricky Nelson, Rod Stewart, Chuck Berry and Benny Hill.

A large memorabilia and collectibles show is being held, during the three days. Weekend passports are available at the ANAF club or at the door. For more information, call 429-2163, or drop by the ANAF club.
