Charlo Ain’t Going Nowhere – Except UP!

Hits: 0

Just a glimpse of Charlo in the studio with me as we begin our DREAMGIRLS DANCE PROJECT. Charlo tells the story of how she first reacted to Dreamgirls when she was a Harlette in New York with Bette Midler.

Charlotte Crossley starts off Rick Gianatos’s DREAMGIRLS DANCE PROJECT with her interpretation of the Act I showstopper. Background vocals are directed by Pam Vincent, and the BG vocalists are Pam, her sister Joyce Vincent [both formerly of Dawn], and Trina Lykes.

This Particular Album Gathers Together Key Members of Renowned Female Groups of the 1960s, Including Scherrie Payne, Lynda Lawrence and Cindy Birdswong of the Supremes, Hodges James and Smith, Merry Clayton, Together with the Likes of James Gilstrap, to Produce a Stunning Album of Dance Interpretations of the Best Known Tracks from the Musical. Assembled by Rick Gianatos, this Promises to Be a Big Success Alongside the Original Soundtrack.

  1. WOW!!! Thanks so much for posting this! I am now in NYC back on Broadway and in my beloved HAIRSPRAY, at the Neil Simon Theatre! Having a great time, as I took over for my dear friend and sista Miss Jenifer Lewis as MotorMouth Maybelle. God is so good!

You site looks amazing and the pix are wonderful. Inspite of everything, Mrs. VonHaselberg/ aka/ Frau Kipper is a talent of great proportions and has brought happiness to millions of people. I say, God Bless her and keep her close to His heart. He knows the way that she takes, and ain’t that a good thing.
Please keep in touch. I am in NYC for 6 months. Keep up the good work.
    Much Love,
    Charlo Crossley
