Bailee Madison, the up-and-coming tween actress from Fort Lauderdale, will meet fans in Plantation on Saturday while raising money for Alexâ€™s Lemondade Standâ€™s childhood cancer research efforts.
Bailee, seen most recently in starring roles in the Adam Sandler-Jennifer Aniston comedy â€œJust Go With Itâ€ and with Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce in Guillermo del Toroâ€™s horror remake â€œDon’t Be Afraid Of the Dark,â€ will pass out lemonade and sign autographs from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Bluedog School of Acting for Kids (6909 W. Broward Blvd., Plantation; 954-584-5006).
Youâ€™ll also find her on the Hallmark Channel Jan. 14 at 8 p.m. in the made-for-TV movie â€œA Taste of Romance,â€ co-starring Teri Polo and James Patrick Stuart. Soon sheâ€™ll return to the big screen in â€œParental Guidance,â€ currently filming with Marisa Tomei, Billy Crystal and Bette Midler.
Bailee, who also has hosted recent Alexâ€™s Lemonade Stand events in Los Angeles and New York City, was honored at Varietyâ€™s 2011 Power of Youth Awards for her work on behalf of the nonprofit foundation. Info: alexslemonade.org.
