PARTY CIRCUIT IS SCARING UP SOME FUN
October 16, 2012
New York’s celebs have started passing out invites to their exclusive Halloween parties.
Bette Midler will host a star-studded bash at the Waldorf-Astoria on Oct. 31, bringing out Martha Stewart, Al Gore, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Kors – who will judge a costume contest – for her 17th Hulaween Gala, benefiting the New York Resoration Project. Guests get to snack on Jean-Georges Vongerichten dishes while dodging can-can dancers and hula-hoopers.
Kim Kardashian will host Midori’s Green Halloween party at Avenue nightclub on the 27th, but there’s no word on whether her beau Kanye West will be in attendance.
On the 19th, Kristin Cavallari has her Bing It On Halloween Costume Challenge at Spirit Halloween, where attendees assemble an outfit in five minutes for Cavallari to judge.
And Heidi Klum’s spooktacular bash always draws an A-list crowd attired in over-the-top outfits. This year, Klum will take over EMM’s much-anticipated Finale at 199 Bowery. And good luck upstaging the host. In past years, Klum’s showed up as multi-armed Hindu deity, a giant bird of prey, and the Biblical snake wrapped around the forbidden fruit.
