With Billy Crystal and Bette Midler at the helm, a time spent watching the grandkids is more than hilarious in the upcoming movie, Parental Guidance. The PG rated comedy film will be released in theaters on Christmas day.

Artie (Billy Crystal) and Diane (Bette Midler) do the grandparent thing and decide to watch the grandchildren while the parents are away for work. The children feel their grandparents are a bit “old school” and bring on their newer methods of living.

With a combined cast of Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei and Gedde Watanabe, there is little doubt that at least the slapstick will be amazingly good. The rest is left up to the written work of Lisa Addario, Lowell Ganz, Babaloo Mandel and Joe Syracuse.

Watch for Parental Guidance this Christmas at a theater nearest you.
