Bette Midler fans, take heart.
The Divine One will be back soon, having approved
two feature projects: “Texas Gulnan” and “My
Girdle is Killing Me.”
They will be her first two features since “Jinxed,”
the film that was just that, coming after
Bette’s first big success with “The Rose.”
In the meantime, she released a new album, and
Cinemax pay-TV subscribers were able to see a
half-hour special of Bette singing her latest songs
and talking about her work.
