Tony Orlando and Dawn, Bette Midler, Roberta Flack, David Bowie, Ann-Margret, Anne Murray, Kris Kristofferson, Rita Coolridge, Anna Moffo, Les Hooper Big Band, Harry Chapin, The Spinners, Waylon Jennings, Paul Williams, John Lennon and Paul Simon are among the recording artists who will appear as performers or presenters on The 17th Annual Grammy Awards Saturday, March I (10:00-11:30 p.m., EDT) on the CBS Television Network.

These performers join David Essex, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Hamlish, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Ray Stevens and Stevie Wonder.

Hosted by Andy Williams, The 17th Annual Grammy Awards will originate live at the Uris Theatre in New York City. The Grammy represents the highest honor that the recording field can bestow – recognition of outstanding creativity by one’s own peers.
