Grateful Dead have a lot to be grateful for. Veteran rock group was the top-grossing concert act of 1993, taking in $45.6 million for 81 shows.

Rod Stewart was No 2 with $30.5 million for 68 performances, followed by Neil Diamond with $29.8 million for 75 gigs.

The rest of last year’s live-performance top 10: Paul McCartney, Bette Midler, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Jimmy Buffett, Reba McEntire, Kenny G.
