Red Alert: Bette Midler, October 7th, 2008 Performance Canceled

Mister D:

According to Ticketmaster, the October 7th perfomance of Bette’s “The Showgirl Must Go On” has been canceled. If you have tickets for that day you probably need to act quick if you need to make cancellations of your own and getting refunds.

This is info I got off Ticketmaster, so I’ll print the phone number and box office hours of The Colosseum (however the heck you spell it):

Box Office Numbers:
Box Office :702 866-1400
Group Sales : 702 731-7208 (Groups of over 15 people)

Box Office Hours:
10:00am – 10:00pm Daily

AEG, Concerts West, Harrah’s Entertainment and Ticketmaster are not responsible for any consequential or incidental expenses (including transportation, hotel or food) due to the cancellation or re-scheduling of a performance. Customers assume all risks associate with live entertainment.

Love, Mister D

PS: If any of you find out better information, please email me so I can help people out….

I don’t have the answers as to why any of this happened, so just contact Ticketmaster and The Colosseum

  1. According to my friend Amy, the August 8th show in Indiana sold out in an hour. Expect online ticket scalpers to pop up all over.

  2. I purchased tickets to the 10-7-08 show to celebrate my birthday and am extremely disappointed that Bette has canceled this show. I called The Colosseum box office and was advised the staff was told it was canceled due to a “scheduling conflict”. I called Ticketmaster and they made the refund process easy. All monies were refunded except the Order Processing Charge of $5.10. I don’t know whose scheduling conflict it was, Bette’s or The Colosseum, but regardless I’m very disppointed!!!!!

  3. Hi from Australia – I am a huge Bette Midler fan and am flying all the way from Australia to see Bette Midler in Vegas on this date (plus the next night). I am so terribly disappointed the concert has been cancelled. I got up at 3 in the moring to book these tickets when they went on sale. Have paid for accommodation and flights so there is no chance to change bookings now. Lets hope that this is an error!!

  4. Hi Kerri: I wish I could tell you it was an error but it’s not. I would at least try to see if you can make re-arrangements. It’s worth a try.
