I was there at 14 years old. The Erlanger Theater. You just threw me into a tailspin. : ) Lionel Hampton performed too. I’m glad it was worked out by the night I went. I didn’t even know about it then. Or who Lionel Hampton was really. lol. I still have some pictures I took that night with a kodak camera. You know, the ones with magic cubes. Your site is the best. Clams was my first show to see, but it was when it hit New York. I didn’t even know they previewed it in Philly until I started doing this researchA….how cool for you! And yes, i remember the magic cubes…lol Thanks for the compliment! xx
You lucky dogs!! I was WAY too young in 1975…I wish I were as old as you, I could have been somebody!! Someone who was OLD enough to see this show – LOL!!!!
You lucky dogs 😉

Ha Ha! I ended up going with my mom for this…boy was that an adventure! lol
How I wish I could have seen this show. I was too young and sadly did not know who Bette was. Wish I had known her music then, life would have been easier. I’ve always loved everything I’ve read, seen and heard about it. A great set list & to have heard the great Phoebe Snow’s ” I Don’t Want The Night To End” sung live by Bette, that’s one I’ve never heard. “Shiver Me Timbers” & “Hello In There” together in one concert is my idea of Heaven.
I’ll have to write about it some time…if I can remember that far back….lol
