From Andy Fickman, the director of You Again and Race to Witch Mountain, comes the hilarious family comedy film Parental Guidance. Written by Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse, it stars Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei and Tom Everett Scott.
When type-A helicopter parents Alice and Phil Simmons need to leave town for work, Alice’s parents Artie and Diane Decker agree to babysit their three grandchildren Harper, Turner and Barker. However the grandparents get more than they bargained for when 21st century problems collide with their old school methods, especially since Artie is accustomed to calling the shots. As things go from hectic to hysterical when the kids are running the house with their newfangled technology, the grandparents learn the balance of a little compromise. A sprinkle of tough love, old-fashioned games and sugary snacks can go a long way to outsmarting the kids and bringing the family closer together.
