Bette Midler brings her talents to Europe this month and next, starting with a six-day run this week at London’s prestigious Palladium.
The songstress who made a big splash in the early ’70s with an album called The Divine Miss M is now a movie star as well – The Rose, starring Midler, Alan Bates and Frederic Forrest, has just been released.
With Midler on stage in Europe are the Harlettes (latest version). Her Broadway-style shows will sell out quickly if
the London box office traffic is any indication.
