Q, I’ve wondered if you have more fun when you sing with people like Bowie, Bette Midler — people more your own age your own style.

Cher: I do. It’s a lot more fun. It would be really fun to take that to a concert situation. I just enjoy getting out and singing for fun. Even if I just sing backup, 1 enjoy that too. It takes the heaviness off one person.

The-Divine Miss M will star in several upcoming films for that company, as well as develop other properties for them under a newly formed Bette Midle-Aaron Russo Production Company. LAS VEGAS, NEV.-The two weeks of April 15-28 have been set for Bette Midler—the “Divine Miss M“—to make her debut at Caesars Palace.

Ms, Midler, currently winding up a successful cross-country concert tour, is represented on national music charts with a hit album, “Songs for the New Depression.”

A sold-out concert tour ends March 28 at Westchester Premier Theatre in New York.
