The show that will get the largest audience is ABC’s Barbara Walters special, beautiful and-or talented women, to air April 1, 10-11 p.m., Eastern time, in which she interviews Bo and John Derek, Farrah Fawcett, Cheryl Ladd and Bette Midler.
In the first interview, 23-yearold Bo denies that John, 53, is her “Svengali,” which might be more convincing if he didn’t do all the talking.
Farrah Fawcett, who rates herself a nine, has a luxurious home and an awareness that reality has rubbed off a little
of her sweetness.
Cheryl Ladd, who rate’s herself an eight, is coming to terms with success and divorce.
And Bette Midler, who rates herself a 55, thinks she’s falling apart – but that it isn’t serious.
Midler makes the best interview of the bunch – her energy springs across the screen. The three beautiful blondes are lovely to look at, but’conversation is not their forte.
