Just got confirmation that Bette’s new CD is tentatively slated for a November release in the US and UK. Not sure about the rest! Xx
Bette’s asking for our help in her new fundraiser. Read about it in her tweet…just click on the link. You can donate as much as you can so you don’t have to break the bank:

Anxiously looking forward to this new CD. Wondering if this is the “girl-group” tribute that’s been mentioned? Also, is she still with Sony/Columbia, Rhino, Atlantic, Friday? Maybe more follow-up CD’s to come? Gosh, I’m just fantasizing all over the place…Thanks for keeping us posted!
BTW, I just noticed Songs for the New Depression is being re-released in July as a limited edition. Looks like it’s a re-master of the original–no new or added songs, which would have made this one extra special, as there was a lot of material cut from the original.
It’s on Rhino/WB. Hopefully one day we’ll get the box set we so desperately want.
Girl group? I’m intrigued
I didn’t even knew Atlantic Records still existed! I thought Warner had eaten it. But, here’s the link: http://www.atlanticrecords.com/
The way Ahmet died was such a waste.
Thanks Marcos!
