Girl fight! When Kendall and Kylie Jenner saw their Twitter arch-nemesis, Bette Midler, at a Met Ball after party they didn’t hesitate to introduce themselves. Eek!
Bette Midler, 70, was in for a real surprise when she bumped into not one, but two Kardashian family members at a Met Ball after party on Monday, May 2. Kendall, 20, and Kylie Jenner, 18, reportedly approached the Hollywood legend about her constant ridicule of their family on Twitter, and needless to say the exchange did NOT go well.

Not all Met Ball fights can happen in an elevator. At an after party for the 2016 event, it went down right inside The Standard hotel in New York City. This time it was two Jenner sisters and a stage/screen/life icon who came face-to-face in a bad way.

Apparently, when Kendall and Kylie spotted Bette at the party, they had another party guest introduce them, report party spies at Page Six. Bette’s response to their confrontation? “Girls, girls, I get it. I know I am persona non grata,” Bette reportedly said, but neither Kendall or Kylie laughed at the joke. Yikes.

For those of you who don’t know what “persona non grata” means, it is loosely translated to “person of no status.” Hey, at least Bette knows her place against the Jenner sisters. Now, if only they could have a sense of humor about her hilarious tweets!

If you don’t happen to follow Bette on Twitter, she has ruthlessly aimed her snark at the Jenner/Kardashians numerous times. The most notable tweet was when Bette slammed Kim Kardashian for posing nude, to which Kim responded with some major shade about how Bette was a total fake.
