Bloomingdale’s is now selling towels inscribed with “Continental Baths.” Bette Midler, who began her career singing at the baths dined at 0. Henry’s and discussed her engagement at the Palace:
“I’ve gone from the white towel crowd to the black tie audience.” . . .
“Bad Sex,” the – song she includes in her act was written by actor Seth Allen, who’s in “More Than You Deserve” at the P u b l i c Theater.
