What: Woman to Woman Luncheon benefiting Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas

Where: Hyatt Regency

The 411: More than 1,400 supporters from all over Dallas-Fort Worth celebrated the power of women at the 2014 Woman to Woman Luncheon. A raffle filled with fabulous items – think a $5,000 Hermes timepiece from Eiseman Jewels, two nights at Rough Creek Lodge and an in-home dinner for eight from a CIA-trained chef – helped fill the coffers at Jewish Family Service. But guests were most excited about the opportunity to hear from woman of the hour Bette Midler, who rocked a fabulous full-length caftan with plunging jeweled neckline and a pair of flip-flops. Paige McCoy Smith of WFAA‘s Good Morning Texas conducted the interview with the Divine Miss M.

Founded 10 years ago, the biennial Woman to Woman event provides substantial support for the programs and services at JFS, which provide professional, effective and affordable mental health and social services that promote lifelong self-sufficiency and well-being for anyone in need regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or ability to pay.

Who: Beth Konig, Sheryl Pidgeon, Cindy Ray Yablonsky, Laurie Platt, Linda Garner, Anita Chanon, Lori Alhadef, Carol Aaron and Linda Cooper.
