Mister D: More film festivals, so more Bette!

- The 31st Portland International Film Festival begins on February 7th and ultimately ends on the 23rd. “Then She Found Me” will be playing on the 8th and the 11th and at the time of this drawn out news bit, tickets are still available, but you better grab them fast. I know there are plenty of BetteHeads in Portland….come on! Here’s the link to the Festival: Click Here
- Need the extremely informed gay crowd or gay-friendly crowd who watch TV, Film, and Read! to check out the GLAAD nominations and see what you think. I don’t think I know half the stuff they have nominated (or did they miss the boat on some things), so any comments would be welcone. For those who don’t know what GLAAD is, well, here comes the answer: GLAAD stands for Gay And Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and the GLAAD media awards pertain to this: The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.
You can view the nominations on my Bloggorhea (diarrhea of the mouth…thanks C-Freak). Come by and visit, pick the winners, or mouth off on what you think. I do have a beef…why does it seem like all gay events are sponsored by alcohol ads…I’m sure I know the answer, but there has to be a way to get around this. Nothing screams out safe sex like alcohol and a room full of horny people, whether gay or straight.
