Kathy Griffin To Elisabeth Hasselbeck: ‘Suck It!’

Kathy Griffin isn’t backing down from her feud with “View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

After the two sparred on-air last month on “The View,” Hasselbeck called Griffin “scum” this week for her joke that Scott Brown‘s daughters are prostitutes.

Griffin’s response? Hasselbeck can “suck it.”

“Now I have to send Elisabeth Hasselbeck two muffin baskets because she confronted me when I was a guest on the show two weeks ago and then this morning she called me ‘scum,'” Griffin told E!. “I have to send two baskets because as a comedian, I’m loving it.”

“Suck it!” she added. “As the great Bette Midler said, ‘F–k ’em if they can’t take a joke.'”

Or, as Joy Behar said to Hasselbeck, “I know my daughter’s not a prostitute, so it’d be funny. It’s just a joke, Elisabeth.”

  1. It’s moments like these when I miss Rosie on this show. She would have put that conservative nut in her place! Also, they conveniently left out the part where right after the joke was said, Kathy Griffin ran a very funny disclosure stating that Scott Browns daughters were not prostitutes and that it was in fact… a joke!

    1. That’s right….I remember that now. Rosie would have remembered that and brought it up. Showbiz!!!! I don’t even think she had to say it was a joke….you could just tell anyway…the whole thing is silly…

    2. You’re not a child past 17 besides if you saw the show it was clearly a joke Marcos. Kathy is a comedienne and it was so obvious….then she stated it right after she said it…something that was conveniently left off in the debate on the View….the whole thing is really silly considering the rest of the ills we have in society….

  2. Elizabeth Hasselbeck just wants to find any excuse to call out and beat down people who don’t agree with her. She pulls this type of stuff all the time and it’s so annoying. It almost makes me want to not watch this show. She’s completely out of touch if she’s comparing Kathy to a mass murderer, there’s hardly a similarity.

  3. The reason why she made a joke like that in the first place is because Scott Brown said something about his daughters being “available” the day he was elected into the Senate.
