“Parental Guidance,” starring Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei and Tom Everett Scott, films downtown today. If you’re near the Five Point Marta station or Underground Atlanta you’ll see the project in action. We visited the set recently when they were filming in Piedmont Park and asked Crystal for his advice for Eddie Murphy, who was then planning to host the Oscars. “Have fun!” Crystal said then. If we return we might ask if he’s interested in returning to that gig now that Murphy has backed out following producer Brett Ratner’s unfortunate dust-up.

A Disney TV movie called “Until We Meet Again” is filming in Marietta and will feature the Strand Theatre. The movie “Neighborhood Watch,” starring Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Ben Stiller filmed there recently as well. That movie was filming in Midtown on Wednesday, after wrapping a huge two-night shoot at Campbell High School in Smyrna last week.

Denzel Washington and John Goodman are here filming “Flight,” which has been shooting in Conyers this week.
