Bette Midler Urges Fans To Support New York City Tree Campaign

Legendary entertainer Bette Midler has urged her fans to think green this Valentine’s Day (14Feb13) by funding a tree in New York City in honour of their loved ones.
The singer/actress is the founder of the New York Restoration Project, and she is backing the group’s latest initiative.
The romantic scheme allows environment-lovers to invest in new trees which are being planted in the city’s five boroughs, and Midler wants her Twitter.com followers to support the campaign.
In a post on her page on the site, she writes, “I Heart Nyc! Don’t you? Show it this Valentine’s day by funding an Nyc tree – great gift for your valentine.”
