Up, up and away: Bette Midler, the former underground star who’s been setting mainline audiences on their collective ears, has signed with ABC for a one-hour special to he filmed next March.
Bette, whose wow! performances have critics’ comparing her with everyone from Mae West to Barbra Streisand, sets out on her second concert tour this September.
