Ouch! Bette Midler shares photo of her bandaged toe and blames the injury on her ‘cowboy boots’

She’s a world-class performer known for her stellar singing and acting abilities.
But it looks as if Better Midler’s footwear has gotten the best of her.
While on a speaking tour in Texas, the 68-year-old displayed her injured toe wrapped up in green gauze – with matching pedicure – in a photo on her WhoSay page on Wednesday.
Bette posted the pic with message, ‘My New York toes don’t love Texas cowboy boots….Looks like my green thumb has made its way down south!’
The Broadway star was away from her Manhattan home to partake in The Brilliant Lecture Series’ A Conversation With Bette Midler in Houston this week.
Prior to injuring her foot, the Divine Miss M took to the stage in a green frock and a pair of strappy heels on Tuesday.
During the show, Bette discussed her life and career and even broke into a few songs.
According to Broadwayworld.com, the Grammy winning artist performed two tunes from her hit 1988 movie Beaches — Otto Titsling and Oh Industry — and even did Beyonce’s Single Ladies dance at one point.
She hasn’t elaborated on the specifics of the injury or how serious it is, but the talented star appears to be in good spirits.
On Friday she tweeted her fans saying, ‘Well, dear followers, Mother has had quite a week. Des Moines, Houston and Dallas, in four days. Whew! Great crowds; and thank God for em.’
