Finally, it has been confirmed that Bette received our Box of Donations for her birthday. Her assistant, Jill, said she was very moved by the gesture and felt though it was very sweet. So all of you who participated can rest assured that she got your notes and cards (and of course your donations). Thank you so much to all who donated their time and money.
Also, I have it confirmed that the www.bettemidler.com site will be updated and not ignored like past sites before (i.e., the dreadful, now defunct, Yahoo Official Groups Site). Although no work is being done on it as of now, be keeping a close eye on it towards the end of the year.
