Picture: Kamilah as one of “The Dynamites” in the Broadway musical smash, “Hairspray”
From the hallways of “Hairspray” comes the news that Kamilah Martin, one of the “Dynamites” in the show, will be leaving the hit musical to join Bette’s “Kiss My Brass” tour as one of the legendary Harlettes. Congrats to this young lady who carries on the tradition once held by such stars as Melissa Manchester, Linda Hart, Jenifer Lewis, and Katey Sagal…just to name a few.
