On Rosemary Clooney’s CD, “Rosemary Clooney/Count Basie Orchestra At Long Last (1998)” Barry and Rosie duet on the Ralph Freed and Burton Lane song, “How About You.” They changed a few of the lyrics. One of them, the
original was:
“I like Jack Benny’s jokes, to a degree…”
Barry sang it as:
“I like Vilanch’s jokes, to a degree…”
I had forgotten about that until I was listing to the CD today.
Just another useless fact, but I thought I’d throw it your way in case you
hadn’t heard it. 🙂
