More On Brandon Hall’s Triumphant Talent Show Win!

I was able to get a little more information from the man himself, Brandon Hall, who just won his school’s talent competition the other night. Of course, I associate his winning to Bette somehow….I mean, her fans have to be talented and/or smart, except for the marginal few, of which I may be one!

It seems Mr. Hall competed against 14 different acts comprised of approximately 30 different people. As I said before he did a medley of old TV show themes:

-Laverne and Shirley
-Three’s Company
-The Brady Bunch
-Green Acres
-The Addams Family
-Mister Ed
-I Love Lucy
-Happy Days

He did have a female cohort who sang the “lady” parts on Green Acres and Happy Days, and on the other songs with Brandon (her name is withheld to protect the innocent, but congrats to her as well).

Brandon’s big solo was the “I Love Lucy” song. I didn’t know this one, but Brandon, Lora, and Wanda all wrote in with the lyrics…seems Ricky sang it to Lucy in one of the episodes. The lyrics are as follows:

I Love Lucy and she loves me
We’re as happy as 2 can be.
Sometimes we quarrel, but then
How we love making up again.
Lucy kisses like no one can
She’s my missus and I’m her man.
And life is heavenly you’ll see
’cause I love Lucy yes I Love Lucy
And Lucy Loves Me!

The funny thing is that all these girls and boys are fetuses….I’m the one who should know the lyrics to this shit, not them! I suggest every one save up for my senility pills (and you just know the pharmies will come up with something)…anyway, I foresee that being a big expenditure of mine in the future…or right now, I guess! 🙂

Not only did Brandon get a standing ovulation…he won the damn school talent show as well! I’m dang happy so you know how Brandon’s feeling…so, congrats again.

Brandon has been asked to perform his musical act again for the school on March 24th, so everybody pray that he “breaks a leg!”

While you’re at it, check out his web site, too: The Brandon Hall Show

Way to go, Brandon….we’re proud of you!

Love, Mister D
