Well, it’s still not too late to tune into this huge event at Madison Square Garden tonight (Tuesday, September 20, 2005, 7:00 to midnight ET). I believe it is too late to attend, however….my bad!
Now if you’ve been living in a cave, this is a huge event to raise money for the catastrophe that is Hurricane Katrina. The concert is called, “From The Big Apple To The Big Easy.” Without saying much more, there is plenty to read about it on my site and elsewhere. And yes, Ms. Midler will be there performing.

The benefit concert will be available exclusively on the Web via www.real.com/katrina at 7:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, September 20th. The full concert will also be available for two future viewings in the coming weeks.
The Webcast will cost the same as the televised pay-per-view event, $19.95, with all proceeds going to support relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina. In addition, the RealNetworks Foundation will match the show’s initial online viewing proceeds dollar-for-dollar with a grant to Katrina relief efforts.
