Mister D: Okay…this is a longshot for me, but I want to try out for a local production of “Love, Valour, and Compassion. Here is the synopsis of from an Amazon review:
Tagline: Eight men. One summer. Figure it out.
Plot Synopsis: Gregory invites seven friends to spend the summer at his large, secluded 19th-century home in upstate New York. The seven are: Bobby, Gregory’s “significant other,” who is blind but who loves to explore the home’s garden using his sense of touch; Art and Perry, two “yuppies” who drive a Volvo and who celebrate their 14th anniversary together that summer; John, a dour expatriate Briton who loathes his twin brother James; Ramon, John’s “companion,” who is physically attracted to Bobby and immediately tries to seduce the blind man; James, a cheerful soul who is in the advanced stages of AIDS; and Buzz, a fan of traditional Broadway musicals who is dealing with his own HIV-positive status.
Mister D: The roles I would be eligible for are one of these characters – Perry Sellers, Arthur Pape, and Buzz Hauser (mid-thirties to early forties), but I don’t know much about them or which one I might fit better.
And yes, I would have to go full frontal nude I’m game…I have no fear.
Anyway, if someone knows a little bit about those 3 characters could you please drop me a line and describe them? And if you have any pointers about “cold readings” I could use that too.
Thanks for indulging me……
Love, Mister D
PS: If I get the part, I’ll post the nudie pics of me….EEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! It really is an awful site right now, but I’m 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
