Even though Bette debuted on the Billboard Charts at #66, on the Billboard Internet Charts, she debuted at #10.
The import Diva Las Vegas CD/DVD (right hand sidebar) seems to be true and what a great deal it will be. I’m still having a hard time believing they are releasing them together for 16.99 or somewhere around that price. Looking at the overseas tracklist, it’s the whole thing:

Well, I’ve just returned from the UK and as far as I know, Bette’s Best Bette will debute at number 6 (not 66 as in the US…) in the UK charts- could someone please comfirm?? Seems fair enough: she did quite a bit of promo in London, and I’m sure there will be more for the US before Christmas (hopefully together with a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination – and WIN!!!I

I wonder if thy have remastered the DVD to 5.1 Dolby Surround, the original release was only done in 2.0.
The track listing for the C.D is great, I just hope that it’s in order as performed, the track listing here is all over the place.
Either way, it’s on my shopping list, and I’m sure it will be a hit, a big FUCKING hit now baby!!!!

Now I will be able to have the whole unabridged show on DVD – the one I have must have been edited because some of those numbers aren’t on mine like “The Greatest Love Of All” and “New York, New York”.
The CD looks awesome too! I’m so glad “I Look Good” is on the CD!
Along with Bette, I hope we get to see/hear more of the lovely Melanie Taylor, Carol Hatchett, and Rhae Ann Theriault as well.
I have Carol’s “Velvet Sundae Live At The Mint” and Melanie Taylor’s “This Christmas” albums, and I’m so delighted I’ll have Rhae Ann on CD as well. I wish Rhae Ann would release a solo CD.
We only have a month to wait!

I actually received a message from Rhae Ann last night! She’s so sweet and kind, like Melanie Taylor and Carol Hatchett, I knew Rhae Ann was someone special. It makes me want a Rhae Ann Theriault CD now more than ever, and I wish November 4 was here so I can order my “Diva Las Vegas” package.
The funny thing is, Rhae Ann said that she had tried to contact me a while back. I had no idea she even knew I existed! It makes me feel so honoured. I’m guessing she’s somehow read one of my many *I LOVE Bette Midler & The Harlettes* messages I’ve posted all over the net.
What, I am not in the least bit obsessive. 😉
