I find it strange that Shayna Steele doesn’t mention working with Bette (or cite her as an influence) in her bio on her FB fan page. Perhaps she’s not proud of being a Harlette?
I’m not sure why that is, but she wasn’t a Harlette….she was Bette’s background/harmony vocalist….the Harlettes were Kamilah, Jordan, and Kyra….
OH, maybe that’s why. Thanks for clarifying. She could at least mention her in the bio though… I mean working with Bette is a pretty big credit.
