Richard Jay-Alexander to Direct RUTHLESS! Star Jennifer Diamond in 54 Below Debut on Sunday

Currently co-starring in the smash hit musical RUTHLESS!, this Sunday evening, November 8th at 9:30Â PM. Jennifer’s new show IT’S MY FIRST TIME (PLEASE BE GENTLE) is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander.
The two first worked together on LES MISERABLES and a number of benefits, and Jay-Alexander found her uniquely talented and versatile enough to put a special spin on a debut act for her, recounting her arrival in the business, her story as an up-and-coming actress and all the good (and bad) that goes with it. The evening promises to be fun, humorous and heart-breaking with songs from Broadway and pop reflective of Jennifer’s own personal story.
This past summer Jennifer Diamond played mean stepsister Florinda in INTO THE WOODS at The Muny (starring Heather Headley), where she also appeared in LES MISERABLES with Norm Lewis and Hugh Panaro. She traveled the globe with Kristin Chenoweth in concert and had the honor of performing in such prestigious venues as Sydney Opera House, the Hollywood Bowl and Carnegie Hall. Frank Wildhorn. Other favorite credits include playing Belinda on the third season of the popular web series “Submissions Only,” and productions of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and MAN OF LA MANCHA.
