Just listening to ‘For The Girls’ with Bette Midler on BBC Radio 2… Brings back memories from 1973 when I was in rehearsals during my appearance on Burt Bacharach’s TV special. Seated next to me is Bette Midler… who was very disappointed I would not be wearing my cap and boots!
I discussed with Burt my song ‘Alone Again (Naturally)’ which he loved, and I even sang a little of ‘Do You Know The Way To San Jose’, one of my favorite Bacharach and David songs. A great experience
