Hello All!!!! Just wanted to drop a line and tell you a few things. I put up some songs, however Bette is not singing in any of them….she co-wrote these with Carole Bayer Sager and Bruce Roberts. This selection will be a little unusual in that I have one song listed sung by 3 different people plus….and an additional 2 songs.
You will be hearing 3 different versions of “Steal Away Again”….respectively by Lisa Hartman, Bruce Roberts, and then Carole Bayer Sager. The other two songs are “You’re Moving Out Today” and “I Could Have Loved You” performed by Carole Bayer Sager and The Moments, respectively…
Hope you aren’t disappointed that Bette isn’t singing these, but I thought it would be of some interest especially since Bette never recorded 2 of the selections herself…I thought it would be fun to compare the 3 versions of the one song….which leads me to the next subject….
I have just put up a new feature on the sidebar…a place for polls. Next week I’d like to do one on which version of “Steal Away Again” everyone preferred…this week…just to test out the polls, I made a lame-o one about which is your favorite Bette movie….so try it out and “place your bettes” (I know….lame:-))
I’ve changed some things around on the site so nothing is where it used to be, but nothing’s gone. Check out the new quote I found also at the top of the page, too…I’ve also been adding pics to the movie and music review sections, but I still have a long way to go…
