New Music: The theme this week is “To Make You Smile”…I think we could all use one, and a hug wouldn’t be bad either. Anywho…hope you enjoy the selections…
New Section: Bootleg Betty Records….where I’ll feature mosly the songwriters of a lot of Bette tunes and their versions of songs she has covered. And just for fun, I’ll be throwing other singers covering songs we associate with Miss Midler…, ie, this week I have Cher singing ” Fire Down Below” Anyway, please check out links to the songwriters if I have them and learn something about them. You might end up purchasing some of their music…
Books and Magazines Section: I have added 2 more articles…Time Magazine 1987 when Bette made the cover. It’s a great article. I also posted another one from In Style 1997…almost 10 years to the date…
