Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King couldn’t fight the feeling when Barbra Streisand took the stage Monday night at the Garden. Joined by Rosie O’Donnell, the BFFs jumped up and down and screamed for the unretiree.
Also front and center at the Brooklyn-born diva’s homecoming were hubby James Brolin, his son Josh Brolin, Babs’ son, Jason Gould, Bette (“Beaches”) Midler, Amy (“Yentl”) Irving, Tony Bennett, Robert De Niro, Gene Simmons, Smokey Robinson, Geraldo Rivera, New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Rep. Charlie Rangel, former Mayor David Dinkins, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Marvin Hamlisch, Barry Diller, Sandy Gallin and Ron Meyer.
After the show, many of them went backstage, where Oprah shared her Doritos and everybody told Babs she was right in her decision to tell a pro-Bush heckler to “[bleep] off.” …
