Our friend, director Steven “Flip” Lippman (my first interview…OY!), who directed Bette in her Peggy Lee videos just wrote in to say he finished one of my other favorite divas (and friend of Bette) video, Dolly Parton’s “Jesus and Gravity.” This is the newest single off Dolly’s new CD “Backwoods Barbie.”
Everyone should get this CD. “Backwoods Barbie” is one of the songs being sung by the character Doralee for the “9 to 5: The Musical” opening on Broadway next year!
